Wireless remote control

In the era of eco-lighting, savings can be made by increasing efficiency. The modernization of the lighting system can reduce the "lighting cost" of the energy bill by up to 80%. Adequate control allows a more correct use of energy resources, avoiding unnecessary waste: energy saving, environmental protection and all services added value thanks to the remote control, based on a point-to-point RADIO communication infrastructure.

The GEOLUMENinside remote control system

The GEOLUMENinside platform transforms each single light point into an access point to a radio communication network capable of conveying information to a remote control center. The intelligent light points not only send information about their status (ON/OFF, dimming, failures, consumption), but can receive commands with manual, programmed or automated logics.

MANUAL LOGICS

From the graphic control interface, simple and intuitive, you can manually issue commands and view the parameters of the light point or sensor interrogated or managed in real time.

AUTOMATED logics

Together with the manual and programmed logics, automations can be created. Sensors that read and transmit data on the amount of natural light, detect the presence of people in an environment or monitor temperature, humidity, CO2 levels and other parameters, they can all interact with each other and generate energy saving control logics as well as collect useful information for the provision of value-added services.

PROGRAMMED logics

Unlimited light profiles can be created, up to managing each single light point in the network with a different profile. Based on working calendars and/or astronomical calendar, the light profiles that can be differentiated according to the time and day of the week .

GL-RD node

The GL-RD node is a HW / FW component for receiving and sending messages and commands. It allows remote interrogation and management of single light points and other mobile devices.

GL-RD DEVICES RANGE:

  • GL-RD: 0-10V interface + energy meter.
  • GL-RDs: DALI interface
  • GL-RDn: DALI interface with NEMA SOCKET
  • GL-LVX: interface for votive / cemetery lamps

GL-RDC Coordinator node

The GL-RDC coordinator node interrogates and pilots the individual light points and mobile devices, collecting and sending messages to the Operations Center through a LAN / UMTS network.

SW Central Station

Implemented on a cartographic basis, it allows you to access the systems, to query and manage the individual nodes remotely, displaying anomalies and alarms in real time from the monitored devices, fixed or mobile. It can therefore manage the operating logics with appropriate access credentials, as well as allow real-time management of the service, including maintenance.

GEOLUMEN srl offers different modular solutions based on the customer's needs:

  • Stand alone version (1 GL-RDC Gateway with MAX 100 associated nodes / lamps) that does not require a PC or additional installations. The management SW is inside the Gateway, accessible via IP, even remotely with VPN certificates.

  • SERVER version, to manage multiple GL-RDC Gateways with a single graphic interface. The CLIENT version can enable the preparation of a customized interface with limited pre-settable management functions.

  • "Open" version: communication protocols based on international standards and interoperable with third-party systems, allows the integration of the GEOLUMENinside infrastructure with other control platforms or management systems.
